In addition to information materials, our photo book from Bangladesh, and the biography of our founder, Dr. Werner Waldmann, we also offered free water – to raise awareness of our water projects in Ethiopia and Kenya. The motto was: “Free Water – here and there.” For donations, we also gave away herb salt and all sorts of useful little items as gifts.
Unfortunately, the weather was rather cold, which meant that demand for free water was not very high, at least on Saturday. Thanks to the support of our dedicated volunteer team – to whom we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude – we were able to engage in many interesting conversations with market visitors and raise awareness about our work. Particularly popular were the flyers announcing “Tod eines Pudels” with Angelika Kirchschlager and Alfred Dorfer on November 22. Over these two days, we were able to collect almost 900 euros in donations.
