Since 2018, Austrian Doctors has regularly applied for project funding of up to € 20,000 per year from the state of Salzburg.
Thanks to this funding, numerous projects have already been implemented. For example, construction projects have been implemented in Kenya at the Eroret School and the Community Center in Awasi and currently at the “Elisabeth Bernecker Community and Health Center Gazipur“. There were also grants for the operation of the Eroret School and for equipping our training center in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
In 2021, the state of Salzburg also approved a funding application from Austrian Doctors in the amount of € 300,000 for a water project in Ethiopia, which will be implemented together with Menschen für Menschen.
