In order to make access as low-threshold as possible, the treatment costs are set at approx. 25 EurocThe number of employees is also very manageable by local standards. Deployment of volunteer doctors from Austria

As has already been tried and tested in the past, Austrian Doctors has been offering volunteer assignments for doctors from Austria and Europe again since September 2024. In addition to the work in our fixed infirmary in the training center, we also have a mobile clinic. The background to this is that many of our patients cannot afford transportation to us. So we decided to use the mobile clinic to visit people where they live. Various poor areas of Dhaka are visited on a regular basis. The volunteer doctors from Europe support the local staff here – and both sides benefit enormously from this cooperation. In addition, medical missions are planned for our rural project in Gazipur, which is currently in the final planning phase.
