Transparency and control

In addition to clear voluntary commitments, responsible work also includes continuous external and internal reviews of projects. We regularly publish where and how we use the donations in our annual report.

You are welcome to download our annual report here free of charge. If you are interested in a printed version of the annual report, please contact us.

Deductibility of donations

Austrian Doctors is a non-profit organization that is largely financed by private donations. The “NEW donation deductibility” has been active since 2017. This means that donations are tax-deductible if you provide your first name(s), surname(s) (according to the population register) and date of birth. We forward this data together with the donation amount to the tax office and the donation is automatically taken into account in the donor’s employee tax assessment or income tax return. You can find more information on tax deductibility at the BMF donation service.

We support projects worldwide

Donation seal of approval

Since 2019, we have also been awarded the seal of approval for donations. This is the highest seal of approval for fundraising associations in Austria. The basis for obtaining this seal of approval is an annual, strict audit by an auditor with regard to the use of funds, low administrative expenses, etc. This gives you as a donor the assurance that your donation will be handled responsibly by Austrian Doctors.

You have not yet given us your date of birth? Please send it to us by e-mail to office@austrian-doctors.at or call us on 0664/ 1507888. Thank you very much!

School meals for children

Malnourished children are particularly susceptible to infections. In our schools, we therefore provide children with nutritious meals to strengthen their immune system.
