Condolence donation: Grief becomes hope

The loss of a loved one is very painful. During the time of mourning, we often wish we could do something that is in the spirit of the deceased and has an effect beyond their death. Instead of wreaths and flowers, many people ask for a condolence donation in memory of the deceased. A beautiful gesture that often fulfills a last wish of the deceased: to have a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

What does a condolence donation to the Austrian Doctors achieve?

A condolence donation helps the Austrian Doctors in their daily work. After all, misery and illness are part of everyday life, especially in countries of the Global South. We create prospects for children and adults with educational and medical projects.

How does a condolence donation to the Austrian Doctors work?

1. make contact

Please inform us of the upcoming funeral and let us know the name(s) of the deceased and the date of the funeral service so that we can clearly allocate incoming donations. Call us on 0664 150 7888 or send us an e-mail to office@austrian-doctors.at.

2. formulate the obituary

Indicate your wish for a donation in the obituary. State a clear reason for the donation. Please use the following donation account:

3. receive feedback

A few weeks after the funeral service, we will be happy to inform you of the total amount donated. This will give you another opportunity to thank the mourners for their generosity. Please note that for data protection reasons we are unable to show the individual donation amounts.
