Donate sensibly for people in need

It is just as important to us as it is to you that the maximum amount of your donation flows directly into the projects and makes a long-term difference. We therefore keep other expenses, for example for the administration of donations, as low as possible.

In 2021, we were able to use almost 80 percent of donations directly for our project work. Around 20 percent of expenditure was used to raise awareness of our organization, maintain the volume of donations that secure our projects and manage all incoming donations responsibly.

There are various ways to help sustainably. You decide personally which type of donation is right for you. For example, you can donate for a specific occasion – so instead of giving lots of birthday presents, you can simply do something good. Or you can help in the long term with a regular donation. Above all, regular donations help us to continue to develop our projects in a sustainable and reliable way.

We send out the donation receipt by post in March of each year at the latest. If you wish, we can also send it to you by e-mail. Please note that this confirmation is only for your convenience. Since the reformed Donation Deductibility Act NEW, we forward your donation (with first name, surname and date of birth) to the tax office. For companies, this confirmation is still used for submission to the tax office.
