Review of the Roland Düringer benefit cabaret

On Thursday, May 1, 2025, the time had come: the popular cabaret artist Roland Düringer performed for the Austrian Doctors for the first time.

As with all Austrian Doctors charity events, he also waived his fee – for which we would like to take this opportunity to thank him once again!

The weather on this first day of May was excellent, and so the guests – the Odeïon in Salzburg was sold out with 350 people – were able to enjoy the buffet in the sun before the performance. Thanks to the generous support of many companies from Salzburg and our great volunteer team, we were able to offer a large buffet at virtually no cost to us. This allowed us to generate even more income for our project work in Africa and Asia. Roland Düringer was also present at the buffet before the event, giving many of his fans the opportunity to have a quick chat or take a photo together.

Roland Düringer performed his very successful “Regenerationsabend 2.0”. The audience was thus involved, could help shape the direction of the program and got their money’s worth. During the interval and after the event (around 21:45), there was again the opportunity to eat and drink at the buffet, which was also very well received.

After the event, there was still time for the Austrian Doctors board and staff to tell Roland Düringer more about our work, which was very actively supported by this evening. In total, a “profit” of almost 14,000 euros was made, which will benefit our project work in Bangladesh, India, Kenya and Ethiopia.

A big thank you once again to Roland Düringer, the sponsors of the buffet, the volunteer team and all the visitors who made this evening an unforgettable event.
