Based in Vienna, the Auner Quartet, founded in 2013, has established itself as one of the most distinguished ensembles of its generation in the international chamber music scene. The ensemble — Daniel Auner and Cristian Ruscior (violins), Gabriel Squizzato (viola), and Konstantin Zelenin (cello) — has won, among others, the prestigious Eugène Ysaÿe Competition in Liège. As the first Austrian ensemble, it graced the cover of the Performing Arts Yearbook of Europe with the headline: “Auner Quartet – The award-winning string quartet: a perfect musical match.”
