There are almost unlimited opportunities for you to get involved as a class or even as a whole school. Be it an excursion, a bake sale, a theater performance, lectures or a charity run – a fundraising campaign can not only collect donations for education and health projects, but also inform pupils, colleagues, parents and friends about the activities of Austrian Doctors.
The joy of being able to make a contribution through active involvement is a valuable experience for everyone involved.

Design an exhibition or an information wall on the topic of "Education and health in countries of the global South". Create pictures and design posters to inform others about the living conditions in poorer countries and how you can provide meaningful help. We will be happy to support you with suitable photographic material and information.

Think about creating a quiz, paint pictures, make creative objects or bake cakes. There are no limits to your ideas. You can sell everything you create at a bazaar and collect donations for a good cause. Alternatively, you can also sell things you no longer need at a flea market and support the Austrian Doctors' projects in this way.

A charity run is a sporting event that can involve the whole class or even the whole school. Set a route and get permission from your town or municipality for the run. Find sponsors for the route who will then donate money for your sporting efforts. Each kilometer run corresponds to the sponsor's previously agreed donation.

Research and develop a story that deals with the topic of education and health in countries of the global South. Turn this story into a (dance) play. The play can be a joint initiative in German, music, sports or art lessons. The collected donations and entrance fees will then benefit our projects.
We are there for you on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm.

A big thank you to all the schools, kindergartens, universities, pupils and teachers who have already shown great enthusiasm and commitment to Austrian Doctors’ projects and thus to people in need.
Füssen Grammar School has been a partner school of our schools in Bangladesh for many years. Every year, the entire school organizes a charity day in which all pupils and teachers get involved and collect donations for our school projects in Bangladesh. Here are some examples of what the children come up with to make the charity day creative and successful:
During the last benefit days, there was also a live link to Bangladesh, which meant that both the students in Füssen and in Dhaka were able to see their colleagues and a certain amount of exchange took place.
Over the last few years, Füssen Grammar School and its highly committed team have already collected hundreds of thousands of euros for the school projects in Bangladesh.
Scheffau elementary school is always thinking of new initiatives to support the Austrian Doctors’ projects.
Since 2015, an annual charity run has been held in which the pupils look for “sponsors” and each lap they run brings in donations. In 2023, a total of € 1,257 was raised for our Eroret school in Kenya.
In 2019, they organized a musical on the topic of acceptance and the beauty of difference and friendship. The net proceeds went to our St. Francis Assisi School in Kolkata.
The theater group from Golling Middle School performed “The Canterville Ghost” based on Oscar Wilde at Golling Castle for the benefit of Austrian Doctors.
All in all, there were four really great performances at which donations were collected for our projects.
The students of the Master’s programme International Health and Social Management at MCI Innsbruck organized a charity dinner for the benefit of our Eroret School in Kenya. Thanks to their great commitment, all pupils at Eroret School received a warm lunch every day for six months.
