To mark its good business success in 2019, Volksbank Salzburg distributed donations to several charitable institutions. The campaign was carried out with a special feature: Volksbank Salzburg is a cooperative bank with over 27,000 members, who were allowed to have a say in the distribution of the total donation amount online. The Austrian Doctors were very well received and shared third place with two other organizations, receiving 4,000 euros. The founder and chairman of Austrian Doctors, Dr. Werner Waldmann, emphasized how important this donation money is right now, as medical aid for the poorest people is very often forgotten due to the corona pandemic.
