Information stand and team spirit: a Saturday full of energy
The event began for us on Saturday with the distribution of starting numbers, which took place in the Hervis sports store. Our stand enabled us to draw the attention of many interested runners to our organization. The positive response to our information material was overwhelming. Many sports enthusiasts took the opportunity to find out more about our work and showed a genuine interest in supporting us.
The organizers generously provided us with running shirts from previous years, which we were able to pass on to interested parties in return for a donation. The demand was so great that we were almost completely out of stock in some sizes.
The big day: excitement, emotion and a great atmosphere
On Sunday, the time had finally come. The atmosphere on site was simply electrifying. With a course that included both the half marathon and the 10-kilometer run, there was a suitable challenge for everyone.
As a charity partner, we were not only present at the edge of the course, but also directly behind the finish arch, where our large banner greeted the runners at the finish line. It was a special feeling to see the runners cross the finish line after all their exertion to the applause of the spectators and receive a warm welcome. Many stopped for a moment to relax and learn more about our mission.
Every step counts – gaining new supporters
Once again this year, the Jede(r)mannlauf was a fantastic opportunity for us to draw attention to our work and gain new supporters. We were not only delighted with the sporting successes, but also with the many inspiring conversations with the participants.
The run showed us once again how important it is to connect people – be it through sport, through shared commitment or through the joy of making a positive difference.
