With great passion, creativity, and dedication, Scheffau Primary School staged its very first school musical this year, while also sending a powerful message of solidarity.
The musical “Aufruhr im kleinen Paradies” (“Uproar in Little Paradise”) delighted audiences during two completely sold-out performances. After months of rehearsals with their teachers, the pupils impressed the audience with expressive acting, inspiring songs, creative costumes, and a lovingly designed stage. The story highlights the importance of protecting nature and shows how working together can make a real difference.
The commitment did not end with the final applause: Around €1,200 from the proceeds will support our partner school, St. Francis Assisi School, in India.
In previous years, Scheffau Primary School regularly organized charity runs in support of our projects. This year, the school community chose to stage a musical for the first time. Following a conversation with our board member, Dr. Christian Gruber, last summer, it was decided that the proceeds would once again benefit St. Francis Assisi School in India.
The donation will support educational projects and help improve learning conditions for the children in a sustainable way. For many children, education is the key to a self-determined life and a brighter future.
