Austrian Doctors at the Salzach Galleries – Connecting Through Meaningful Encounters

At the Salzach Galleries in Salzburg, we shared information about our projects and raised support for sustainable development through voluntary donations.

On 4 and 5 July, Austrian Doctors took part in the Salzach Galleries in Salzburg with an information booth. In beautiful summer weather, many visitors stopped by to learn more about our work and meet our team in person.

We were especially delighted by the great interest in our projects in India, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Kenya. Many visitors learned more about our work in education, healthcare, clean water, sustainability, and empowerment, and were eager to discover how sustainable development cooperation creates lasting change.

In addition to learning about our projects, visitors could take home a selection of handmade items in exchange for a voluntary donation. These included decorative items and tablecloths from our vocational training centre in Dhaka, as well as wild garlic salt and lavender sachets lovingly made by our dedicated volunteers. Every donation directly supported our projects.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our five dedicated volunteers, who supported us throughout both days of the event. Thanks to their commitment, we were able to have many meaningful conversations and introduce our projects to a wide audience.

Encounters like these are especially meaningful to us. They build trust, encourage personal exchange, and show how many people share our vision of creating sustainable opportunities for disadvantaged communities together.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited our booth, made a donation, and supported our work. We are already looking forward to seeing you again at our next event!
