CANCELLED: Charity concert of women’s songs

The benefit concert "Frauenlieder" with Cornelia Horak (soprano), Biliana Tzinlikova (piano) and Christoph Wagner-Trenkwitz (recitation).

Unfortunately the benefit concert “Frauenlieder” was canceled

Song as a male domain? Not at all. Joseph Haydn set texts by the writer Anne Hunter to music, the singer Pauline Viardot-García left behind an impressive oeuvre of vocal chamber music. And Franz Schubert lets women speak and sing, for example in “Gretchen am Spinnrad” and “Der Tod und das Mädchen”. These are accompanied by texts by women (albeit in male voices), including Mascha Kaleko and Ingeborg Bachmann.
