As part of the sports festival at Scheffau elementary school, the annual charity run also took place on the fourth of July 2022. The children collected an amount for our school project in Kenya for every lap they ran. Eroret Preparatory School is located in Loodoariak, around three hours by car from Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. Most of the inhabitants of this region belong to the Maasai tribe and live as semi-nomads. More than 200 pupils attend Eroret Preparatory School every day.
Thanks to the pupils of Scheffau elementary school, € 782 was raised. This contribution will enable 87 children to attend school for a month.
